Als Sales Manager ben je een kernwaarde binnen Green Circle Salons die nauw samenwerkt met de founders en een sleutelrol speelt in de commerciële expansie van onze startup. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor alles wat met sales te maken heeft en helpt mee om deze cruciale component van onze jonge startup verder uit te bouwen door o.a. de juiste medewerkers aan te werven, nieuwe programma’s uit te werken, onze startup klaar te maken voor internationale expantie (did I hear Germany?!), etc. We staan voor deze functie zowel open voor mensen woonachtig in Nederland als in België!

50% of the waste that hairdressers 'produce' could be perfectly recycled but currently ends up in residual waste or is flushed down the drain. This is too much and must change. Together with you, we want to tackle the hairdressing sector by offering hairdressers easy ways to recycle and become more sustainable.

Green Circle Salons was founded in Canada in 2009. We help more than 16,000 beauticians create a sustainable impact by recycling their waste in the most circular way possible and by helping them reduce their carbon footprint. Since March 2023, Green Circle Salons has continued to work towards its goal of making the professional industry more sustainable in the Benelux region.

What does this role entail? 

  • You are responsible for everything to do with sales and helps to make this crucial component of our young startup to be further developed.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive growth in the Benelux region.
  • Lead and coach the sales team, with a focus on goal achievement and personal development.
  • Maintain van relationships with existing customers and other stakeholders and proactively approach new customers.
  • You get the ultimate 'entrepreneurial challenge' of your life while you can start with a proven business model and guaranteed traction in the market.
  • You will be a crucial link in our startup and grow with us..

What we are looking for in you:

  • Experience: You have 5+ years of experience with ideally initial management experience and/or a strong passion for mentoring and coaching people.
  • Entrepreneurial: You love building businesses and feel comfortable in a fast-growing and changing environment. You are driven and will do anything to achieve results.
  • SalesProven track record in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Impact: Je houdt ervan om impact te maken. Zowel binnen onze kleine organisatie als ook binnen de sector.
  • Leadership: You enjoy supporting (new) team members in their development in order to achieve ambitious goals together.
  • Willingness to travel within the Benelux region.

  • Knowledge of hairdressing market is a bonus but not a must.

You are a core value within Green Circle Salons working closely with the founders and playing a key role in the commercial expansion of our startup. In doing so, you can draw on best practices from North America and a proven business model in the Benelux.

You will be responsible for everything that has to do with sales and help to further develop this crucial component of our young startup by recruiting the right employees, developing new programs, preparing our startup for international expansion (did I hear Germany?!), etc.
